Can you see her? It's like a game of Hide and Seek with our dog Mellie. She does this every time we come outside to take her back in. She clearly thinks we won't see her. And it's not that she doesn't want to go in. She does. She prefers to be inside in the AC. But she enjoys playing this game. Mellie is a pittie mix  who was clearly used for breeding. She had been dumped at a local park with her two older puppies, who she was initially very protective of. The puppies got adopted quickly, but momma Mellie is still looking for a quiet, patient home preferably without small children as she can be unwilling to share her favorite toys with humans.

***UPDATE***

I got out the the shelter today and learned Mellie got adopted today! Fingers crossed she has found her forever home!
